Bill Clinton Agrees to Reveal Donors

The former president will identify 200,000 donors to his presidential library and foundation by the end of the year, as part of a deal to clear the way for Hillary Clinton to be named secretary of state. Clinton to Join Obama at Monday Announcement

Obama's former rival will join the president-elect in Chicago Monday morning as he names her secretary of state. Also expected to be named: Jim Jones as National Security Adviser, Robert Gates to stay at Defense, Janet Napolitano at Homeland Security, Eric Holder as AG. Press conference scheduled for 10:40 am ET.

President to Make Statement on Indian Attacks

Bush will address the terrorism in Mumbai when he arrives back at the White House Saturday afternoon. Comes after he held a 7:30 am video teleconference with his national security team.      

Obama Speaks With Indian PM

The president-elect calls Prime Minister Singh Friday night to express condolences for those killed in the Mumbai terrorist attacks. Reiterates there will be one president at a time, but will be watching the situation there closely. Get all the details of the conversation here.       

Live Earth India Concert Cancelled

The Dec. 7 event set to feature Bon Jovi, Roger Waters and others at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai is called off due to the attacks. The group's founder, Al Gore's office and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change chair make the announcement in a joint statement. Read it here.      

Clinton Comments on India Attacks

The expected incoming Secretary of State sends out a statement Saturday saying her thoughts and prayers are with the victims in Mumbai. Read it here.

Indian commandos take control of the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, the last section of terrorist resistance, Saturday morning. The head of the commando unit says the violence is over in a televised news conference. Death toll has risen to 162.
