Obama Heads South

The president is on Air Force One, headed to Camp Lejeune to announce his plans to withdraw most U.S. troops from Iraq by August '10. He's scheduled to speak at 11:45 am. An estimated 35,000 to 50,000 troops will remain in Iraq under the plan.

The Incredible Shrinking Economy

Revised GDP figures show the economy shrank much faster late last year than experts believed. The annualized 6.2% fourth-quarter decline is the largest since 1982. The Dow opens sharply lower Friday.
