Palestinians Keep Up Rocket Attacks

Militants armed with deadlier-than-ever rockets continue striking Israel Tuesday. Meanwhile Israel continues launching air attacks against targets in Gaza. More than 370 Palestinians have died; the U.N. says at least 64 were civilians. Israeli PM Olmert: The assault is "the first of several" phases of attack.       

Home Prices Tumble

A closely-watched index shows home prices in 20 cities slumped 18% from October 2007-October 2008. Home prices now at March 2004 levels.      

Obama's Bowling Debacle Rolls On

Even nine months later, Obama can't quite lived down his less-than-stellar campaign bowling outing in Pennsylvania. Finishing a round of golf in Hawaii Monday, the president-elect remarks, "That was pretty good, right?" A woman fires back: "Better than your bowling."      

Consumer Confidence Hits All-Time Low

The Conference Board's Consumer Index falls to its lowest point in December, after experts predicted it would rise. Results suggest poor job, stock markets are outweighing low fuel prices.
