Clinton: U.S. to Begin Talks with Syria

Obama Writes Russian Leader on Missiles

The president pens a missive to President Medvedev, suggesting a U.S. missile defense system might be unnecessary if Moscow helps block Iran from building long-range missiles. But: Russia says letter is a response to a note from Medvedev and includes "no concrete proposals."
