Home Prices Continue to Plummet
Housing prices in the worst hit metropolitan areas have fallen nearly in half with no turnaround in sight. S&P's home price index of 20 metropolitan areas fell a record 19% in January from the year before.

World Bank Warns of Deep Slowdown
The World Bank says the world economy will contract by 1.7% this year, the first decline since World War II. The Bank predicts that the world's richest countries will contract by 3%, while world trade will fall by 6.8%.
