The president-elect names David Ogden as deputy Attorney General and Elena Kagan as solicitor general. Also picks Tom Perrelli as associate Attorney General and Dawn Johnsen as Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel. Read release here.       

Obama, Biden to Meet With Congressional Leaders

The president- and vice president-elect will sit down with leaders from both parties on Capitol Hill Monday afternoon. First Day of School for Sasha, Malia

Michelle Obama accompanies her daughters on their first day at the Sidwell Friends school Monday morning. Minnesota Board Expected to Announce Franken Winner

Minnesota Star-Tribune: With the recount over, the Canvassing Board is set to meet Monday to declare which candidate received the most overall votes in the Senate race.
